Biography:

Léa Gejer is an Architect and Urban Planner (University of Campinas, Brazil - 2007) and Master in Urban Environmental Management (University of Wageningen, the Netherlands - 2011), specialized in the management of natural and local resources, circular design applied to the built environment, sustainable buildings and urban and regional strategic planning.  Léa has worked as an architect and consultant in strategic planning and sustainable buildings in Brazil and the Netherlands. In 2013, she founded Flock, which, in 2014, became an official representative of EPEA GmbH in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Since then, she has been working towards the implementation of Cradle to Cradle and Circular Economy. Moreover, at Flock, she has worked with circular design, Cradle to Cradle and environ-mental management applied to architecture, industrial products and integrated urban and regional planning. Léa is also co-founder and collaborator at Ideia Circular, an online space dedicated to the discussion and dissemination of Circular Economy and Cradle to Cradle in Portuguese. Along with this, she has been giving workshops, lectures and courses that approach circular design and Cradle to Cradle in its diverse scales, from products to architecture and cities.
